One of the best battles between the master and the apprentice. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wStMCth6dwEDunlop on his own ageing Honda RC45 750, at his home circuit and all the fans on his side vs the new prodigy David Jeffries on the all new screaming Yamaha R1 1000 at the Ulster GP in 1999. Joey Dunlops first race back from a few injuries, and DJ had been ruling on the road, but Joey was back. DJ has said JD was not the man to beat in this race, how wrong could he be! Brilliant action, few shots of a zx7rr, and my fav shot is at 5.25mins when Joey is out front going along the flying kilo flat out, the sound of the V4 - ;D ;D ;D

Both guys riding amazingly well. Back in the days when 4t 1000cc, 1000cc v-twins, raced 4t 750 inline fours and vee fours, and 500cc twin two strokes all took part in the same race. Every bike sounds different!

RIP Joey (1952-2000) After winning the 750 and 600cc classes at the Tallinn, Estonia races in 2000, he was killed while leading a wet 125 race later in the event. A grand old warrior for sure.
