I usually find that if I have cleared my temporary internet files, I have to log on to a number of sites again the next time I visit. If you do that daily, or have set your computer to clear all temporary files everytime you shut down, that may be the issue. If you clear the cookies that will remove the "stay logged on" feature for the sites that use cookies for that purpose. I expect that the difference between the sites is how the logon status is recorded on your computer by those sites (ie. temp files vs cookies).

Well, I didn't remove anything (cookies, temp files . . .) and this morning, I had to log in again. That kinda blows away my theory involving those two factors. Been a while since I had to log in. Took me three tries to get my password right!

Even if the Magic Pixies do take 'em, there's always more computer cookies. Never any shortage them. You can delete 'em all and by the time you've finished your next day's browsing, they're all back, and then some! Some are trackin' yer every movement those little beggers do

The cookie moster has struck and once it has your pc will go into meltdown mode , dam cookies i managed to rid them all out my system but wake up the next day and there all infested the hard drive again Tracking cookie is the leader who tells all the other cookies were to go and where to cause the most damage Maybe wasp or ant killer will get rid of them if sprayed into the disc drive
