Yes it has changed. Unfortunately. It used to be really easy to use that imagshack uploader but it seems imageshack have updated their software and proboards haven't yet caught up. You can still post pics with imageshack, it's just a little more involved. Tutorial by Grem: Click on Browse and Host it like you used to and another pop up window pops up. img300.imageshack.us/img300/4134/spma0147.jpgit's the top line of code (gobbledygook) you need to copy, on the leftogf where it says "Direct Link to image" and then click on this button which will give you (img)(/img) but with square brackets. Now paste that code between the tags (img ) HERE(/img) to get your pic on the board, like so. Easier for me to do it "live" as it were than to try to remember and explain it. Sorry it looks so complicated but have a go and you'll be surprised how easy it really is. I'll have a look at proboards support later and see if anything can be done to put it right properly.

Imageshack Uploader now works with any other Browser than Microsoft Internet Explorer. This appears to be an Internet Explorer problem caused by good 'ol Microstuffed. Bill Gates, bless his little cotton socks. Works Ok with Firefox now though.

OK, Now who said you could fill up the Computer Problems thread with pics of Yamazukis anyway ;D I somehow managed to lose a post on here last night featuring those pics of Rex and the Busa. I think I previewed the post to make sure, just as a PM notification came in and it got forgotten about. Try again tomorrow once I remember what I was waffling about. In the meantime, trying another uploader I found. Think it works the same as our imageshack one and is located above the "Add tags" buttons in the posting area. Here goes . . . . Let me know if you think that works any better and we can dump imagshack if it's gonna cause that many complications. To add image to board using wImg uploader, browse as before, click upload, wait a couple of seconds, (particularly if you want more than one image in a post as I just discovered) copy ALL of the bottom row of code where it says "image link" (CTRL+A then CTRL+C on the keyboard I always find is quicker), paste into your post or CTRL+V

Just to confuse everybody I've removed the ImageShack uploader from both the posting and profile areas. It's been replaced with the wImg uploader which seems to work just as well once you get used to it. Here's the destructions, also posted in a coupleof places elsewhere on this site. wImg UploaderTo add images to your post from your hard drive, click on the Browse button above the rows of tag buttons in the posting area and find the file on your computer. Once selected, click on upload. This will open a new window. Here you have a choice of either a Direct Link or Image Link. You want to copy the image link. I've found the quickest way of doing this is to click somewhere in the Image link text and press CTRL + A on your keyboard to select ALL of it. Then press CTRL + C to Copy. Now close the window and go back to your post. Click in your post where you want the image and press CTRL + V to paste. Job done. Repeat as necessary to add more images. For avatars, view your profile/modify profile. The wImg uploader is above the box marked "Avatar URL:" Follow the above steps but this time you want to select, copy & paste the Direct Link into the "Avatar URL:" box. Have fun and feel free to experiment in the test post area. That's what it's for.

Error #1011 = "Quick, shut the system down, that strange Spainish/Scottish bloke is trying to post his pics again." wImg uploader still works for everybody else of course. Are you sure that it was a pic you were trying to upload? I just tried to upload a word document and got the same error message. No bother with jpg or gif images though.
