Ive been looking out for a winter hack for work and back and seen a 750 zephre for sale but i dont know much about the bike to go ahead with bying it i had a go on one years ago and liked it a lot . Upright riding position and plenty of power when needed . Its had a new MOT and looks like its been well looked after with powder coated frame and bit and bobs addded too . Its a 1991 model but with 50000 miles on the clock , part service history but the guy said its used regually and nothing wrong with it . Should i tempt to have a look and buy maybe or steer clear with the amount of miles on it What do you think

Should i tempt to have a look and buy maybe or steer clear with the amount of miles on it Depends on how much you`re going to have to part with for it If it`s cheap enough then go for it, parts are still plentiful for the Zephyrs, although if it`s had regular oil changes it should be reliable and go on and on

Good enough for my 26 mile round trip to work and back thats for sure . Like the looks of the bike too , just hope i can find one a t a decent price now . Did they make a 600 zephyre maybe better looking for one of those

Hard to find a good 'un as they were never that popular with folk that bought bikes to cherish.
Typical Kawasaki bullet proof engine unfortunately the shite build quality as well so most will be mingers if used all year round.

I'm beginning to think that most motorcycles (regardless of the quality of build) become "annual disposables" once they hit yer foggy, wet, damp shores. I thought it might have been something perverse going on, but maybe Floog was actually onto something when, with complete abandon, he slathered his rides in Vaseline.
