Hi everyone, joined sunday and already have been helped out by this excellent site. I'm a muscian for a living , live in bournmouth aged 54 (where's me bloody bus pass gone, what? gotta wait n'other 5 years for it). Found a 98 rex in red 'bout 3 weeks ago with stage 7 dyno, 'bout 150bhp, jmc braced swinger, billet front end runnin' R1 wheels front and back, akro exhaust and a few other on-going mods that aint finished yet.
She was last on the road in 2001 so had to mot her and I'm finding a few problems with her being stood up for that long (rads blown after 300 miles and various other small problems) but she should be back on the road by the weekend
Been tryin to find a nice one for years having owned a gpz1100 back in 82 (plus several Z1's ect) and keep changing from gixxer 1100's to the odd Vmax or 4 but these things are awsome nice riding position for me poor ol arthritic knees and sooooooo much grunt.
Love it to bits

Talking about in bits, just sent her off to Moorespeed racing in poole to sort her out as she keeps going on to 2 then 3 then finally 4 cylinders. I bloody give up so I've let the pro's take over. I be going on holiday next week and I need it back by then. Get pics posted when I get her back later in the week (i hope).
