my daughter in laws cousin has just bought himself a Sachs XTX125, nice bike sorta designed loosley around a Ducati. It is however a hybrid of chucked together parts, ie the engine is Suzuki. The problem that i have got is the forks, no one seems to know what make they are and what size fork seals are fitted. Sachs will not answer my e-mails. Any appreciated.

Got any piccies, Les? Can you not just measure the fork leg diameter and get a seal to fit? They're pretty much all universal This looks like a useful site for you/her 125 Sportsbike Forum

They're pretty much all universal Now thats what I thought, no problem, get old seal out, measure it and send off measurements to wemoto, jobs a good un. However: they aint standard seals, finally got through to a SACHs dealer, just happens that main dealer is 3X, cost of a fork seal kit £75 per side plus oil therefore going for route one, rebuild it with no oil, and then chuck it in for a MOT. not ideal I know

Kinnell, Les. it would be cheaper to get some different forks and chuck them on

xtc........now there's a great band. seriously though, there does seem to be a real problem with after sales with a lot of these smaller bike manufacturers.i'm sure that if you take one of the seals out that you'll find a pattern part from someone like wemoto will do the job.
