Found this the other day at my local bikeshop ;D It`s done 4800 miles and is unrestored and totally mint Been stored for 14 years After a bit of fettling it runs sweet as a nut

sure is a minta , will you be having it How much lanny Ill guess its about £3000 No I wont be having it It`s going to a specialist auction and it`s expected to fetch over £5000 There`s already a couple of interested parties I`ve never seen a bike in such good condition that isn`t either restored, or brand new - you`d need to see it to believe it The only thing on the bike that it didn`t leave the factory with, is the back tyre, which had to be replaced `cos it had perished

Avon roadrunners were very soft and sticky , in fact i think they only lasted a couple o hundred mile Are yes the days when we use to chase the mods an sea boot sox days and breathing castrol R Barry sheene on the box World of sport No speed camera's I remember wanting to get up and just ride me cb250ns without thinking there would be no petrol left in the world

betya the crankshaft oil seals fail within 50 mile.................
when all my mates were riding them i was on a proper bike ;D
and it was always me who towed them home
