The GPZ is going well now. Its pretty much sorted & is taking over daily use duties. Ive been using it for work all week & apart from the crap brakes(even with Hel hoses & new pads)its a nice ride. The only bigish thing still to sort is the bloody front suspension. Its like a jackhammer. The springs are obviously too hard & the oil too thick The guy i got it from was about 18-20 stone,so i can see why he bought hard springs. . . but im a mere 13 or so stone & they hardly move at all. So im on the lookout for a pair of standard springs. . . even ZRX ones should fit. . . to soften it up,then it'll be a good bike. Im watching a full set of fairing lowers at the moment. £19.95 & no bids for the pair. Should i??? Or should i leave it as it is??? Im also watching a standard twin can exhaust system for it...also £19.95 with 1 bid. I rekon it'll run nicer with the stock exhaust . . . then i can put the stainless steel big bore Remus system onto the Rex. . . good plan huh . . .
