:(Bad news...James is taking a temporary retirement from BSB. The injuries he sustained 2 years ago when he smashed both his ankles is taking its toll. Despite several operations, his legs arent improving & the prospect of another accident could result in him losing a leg-or worse. The Quay Garage team are carrying on though with a new rider. The rider's name is a secret at the moment, but is believed to be one of the front runners in the SuperSport series. James wont tell me!(something to do with sponsors...). The new rider will be announced at the next BSB round. James, meanwhile, will be the Chief Mechanic for the team. There is no news yet as to weather he will return to BSB next year just yet. He just has to wait & see if his injuries get better & he can get his full confidence back, but he wont be racing again this year. He wanted to say thanks to ZRXUK for being his "adopted fan club" Will keep you posted on the latest . . . This is "Scoop Snoops" signing off . . .

He's just lost all his confidence & that means he's also lost his speed. He knows if he has another crash,he may not walk again & at 23,thats a daunting prospect. Poor James. Its a shame. Ive known him since he was a tot. He's grown up with my kids & from about the age of 2 he's been obsessed with motorbikes. . . maybe one day,he'll race again-but sadly,by that time, things will have moved on & he'll always be playing catch up...
