True Jeff, Rossi is a genius but look at the last couple of races and then compare the straight line speed of the Yam, in this one They've done a lot of work, and Pedrosa's honda couldn't just breeze past in this race, even with the tow effect...... Rossi was more determined and focused than we've seen in a while. If 2007 IS his last season, he will not want to fail to get the title back, few people remember who was second in the title. Edwards Shnedwards ......he was great in WSB, but he is not good enough to compete with the big boys in GP's in my opinion. He'll be out of a job at the end of this season I think. If I was in charge I'd sack Edwards and replace him with 21 year old, Kent lad, Leon Camier Now that's a great rider

WSB '02 IMOLA. baylis vs edwards. maybe the best bike race ever. colin should have been on that repsol not that hillbilly (politics!). we have different weather conditions so i know you should never underestimate a tornado whereas you apparently dont. if the yamaha was the best bike it would be valentino then colin every race. rossi is a god he can win on almost anything. the yami's only good on qualifiers. but the seasons far from over.

Fraid you've lost me there Jeff Texas Tornado....more like a wet weekend in weatherfield Totally agree, the Bayliss Vs Edwards battles are up there with the Schwantz and Rainey scurmishes for me I never said the Yam is the best bike I said they've worked hard on it and at last it DID look competative in the race. It wasn't totally outdragged like it as going backwards, and combined with a new found stability and Rossi's genius on late breaking and cornering, it was a force to be reckoned with Edwards is not what he once was, and I think next season he'll be booted back to WSB if he's lucky. A MOTOGP world champ he certainly ain't. Jeff, don't tell me you've got an Edwards 2002 mug and a matching helmet....... ......Mind you, I did wear my BARROS rep Shark RSR whilst atching the race.....

if rossi was a god he'd be ZEUS. if edwards had a decent bike under him i'me sure he could regain HERMES'ish status. but XENA'll still look the best in leathers!!
