Help me please somebody i need the dimension across the exhaust at the cylinder head end only so i don't have to strip mine off!!

Do you mean the distance from the outside of exhaust #1 to #4, or the diameter of the header pipe?

OK, Mine's a 1200 so I can't give you the measurement, but that'll help someone get the right info back to you.

I just put the old vernier calipers accross my 1100 headers & the outside diameter is 45mm. . . no idea what the inside diameter is tho. . .

Well,i just checked again and no matter where i measure the external diameter of the header pipes...top,middle or bottom,theyre 45mm. Id like to make them smaller just so i could agree with you,but nope...theyre 45mm... I have no idea why yours are smaller. Maybe you measured them wrong,maybe your measuring tool is out. . . no matter. . . theyre 45mm

Im a complete & utter KNOB...I measured then correctly...but my verniers got 4 different measurment scales & i was reading the WRONG ONE! As Sunny says. . . 38mm Dickhead of the day...

So I was right then.
The internal diameter IS definately smaller than 45mm.
