anyone else having posting probs with firefox on this site
several times i've had to switch to explorer to quote or add images

Nope. been using Firefox for ages without a problem. IE6 always gives an error message when the site loads, but nowt with Firefox.
What version are you using? I'm on 2.0.0.11

Oh! that one! Yes I get that. Thought it was me being dim. I now copy (CTRL+C) when i've done the text and if it fails I can paste it back later (CTRL + V)
Silly thing is, sometimes it works OK!!??

I've noticed that a few times, it's a little annoying as the add image bit appears just in the exact place you were trying to type in so you have to hope you've typed in correctly. Is this what you meant?

Have you tried clearing out all of your computer's temp files?
Also, try getting Spybot - it's free, and does a good job of keeping your computer free of spyware - which anti virus programs don't always seem to.
Try deleting all of your Firefox files from the control panel and then re-install new. You have to make sure to export your bookmarks though, or your tits and ass links will go missing!
If none of this works, go to a Firefox blog and ask there.

It's a gliche (sp) in Proboards (Provision) It used to happen when we had MaximumBikes on it, it also happens to me on here if I use IE or Mozilla Firefox.
