Hey Jeff. Looks like a great ride. Can't tell from the map, but did you go through Port Sandfield between Lake Joeseph and Lake Rosseau. Back in highschool days I worked two summers at a resort hotel (then called Glen Home) that was south across the bay from Port Sandfield. See you also visited some of my old haunts in and around Algonquin Park. Spent three summers up there doing my thesis research in the Park. Colours turning yet? I'm guessing not too much yet as it appears to have been quite warm out your way during most of September. As I remember it, Thanksgiving weekend was the big "northern colours" time of the year. When I was working at the Park, I used to drop back up to that resort hotel in the fall to give them a hand with the last crowds of the year before they shut down for the winter. Did ya not make it back to TO, or did you end up there? Which way did you go, clockwise or counterclockwise? TO to Barrie on 400 would have been just as boring as the drone ride I have to make to Jasper or Banff to get to the good roads

From what I remember, Penninsula Road (632) from Port Sanfield to Rosseau was pretty nice as well. Don't remember being on 141 though. I've got to travel 400 km to get to roads like that.

was just woundering ... have you been on the Z1 of your mates, how does it compere to the REX..? although i'm offered i avoid riding other peoples bikes 'cause he had our laundry on the Z when we were at Barber ( click) with the Canadian Kawasaki Racing team in '03, so i rode it to the nearest town with a laundromat while he was working. it was stock except for an aftermarket injection mapper then. my first impressions were BUZZY & SHORT the instruments were so close to my navel i had to look down to read them & Kawi cheaped out on the suspension but it's a capable naked sport bike it's over a 100lbs lighter than the :zrx: & that always helps chuckability whereas the :zrx: is more practical & comfortable tonys Z1000 now has ohlins rear he's played with the mapping a lot arata ti pipe cleaned up head (ports ) head & barrels are decked ( he's the god of squish ) & he's changing the front end this winter as he cant get it to work to his satisfaction (he's a big bloke) as far as riding together goes he's about 150lbs heavier than i am so even though his bike is more powerful we're pretty even ;D to be fair though he maps more toward mileage than horsepower when we do a decent run & it's easier keeping the front wheel down whackin' on the power for me obviously you should check the specs Mick here
