When Floog gets over to Victoria next year, we should probably pitch in some funds to arrange a trip for him on one of the ferryboats that travel between Vancouver and Victoria. They all have these Hardley replica "thingys" on board. You sit on it, drop a couple of dollars into it and it vibrates like mad, all the while transporting you from one point to the other at a stately, maximum speed of 24 knots through the scenery, and ensuring you're entirely safe by turning only in gently swaying, mile-wide turns. The couple dollars you pay will only get ya the vibes for a couple minutes, so, just like a Hardley, it'll cost you an arm and a leg to actually get anywhere. We all know that one of Floog's most talked about fantasies is to travel through the Rockies on a Road HogStar. If he can pay a lot of money to sit on a vibrating machine, make slow, majestic, ocean liner like progress through the scenery, whilst carry tons of variably useful gear and listening to tunes . . . . (There's normally two of these rigs sitting together so there'd even be room for the missus to share the joy )[glow=red,2,300]He'll think he's died and gone to heaven [/glow]

We love the ferries in Canada. We arrive on the BC ferry that goes from Vancouver, through active pass, to Victoria. It always feels like we're 'Home' when we are on that ferry....and we always choose it over the short flight because you get to see the Eagles nesting in the trees and such beautiful scenery Those vibrating massage chairs are fabulous. Pat and her mad sister used those once and caused a right royal rumpass with the screeching and laughing...... We're gonna spend two nights in Vancouver on first arrival from the airport. I love that city, and the tower, aquarium and other sights....can't wait Just be warned LIGHTSPEED.....I won't be too far from you

Duely noted Fortunately (or unfortunately, as the case may be) I'm likely to be in the Victoria vicinity round Easter time. May have to just keep my head down and make sure I don't talk to any tall folks with bananas hangin' out his pockets

Well you said yourself your PC's clear of bugs now Therefore it's a has-been Thread This thread is dead. It has ceased to be. It's an Ex-thread Think of it as more of an evolution in thread terms, rather than an outright hi-jacking

Or maybe just a gentle sideswipe of a now defunct thread?
