Hello everybody
Just wanted to say and that I am joining the ranks of being a ZRX owner, upgrading from an SV650 and due to pick up my new beast on Sunday. Sadly, the S version, but the price couldn't be turned down. Plus up and down the country fairly often means fairing is pretty much practicality over looks.
Hope to speak to you all soon,
Rich

Cheers. And there was me thinking that everyone seemed to look down on "S"'es as being inferior! By the way wardour, it is the most excellent blue one and hopefully burchy the girlfriend will enjoy the back a bit more too!!!

No way ... the States and Canada dont get the S, and there are some over there that wish they did. Yes basicly it is a naked/R bike with a nose cone stuck on....but many of us think Mr Kawasaki did a good job, a lot better than some you see on the road... ( the bandit for one)

I'm told it's pretty comfy - though I've noticed that if I get a bit "enthusiastic" I get punched in the kidneys, which isn't that great.... Anyway, have fun

Thats the fun of the REX, the odd punch and BTW hold on if you get quick on the throttle. For pillions it is very comfy. My missus enjoys being pillion and has a nice box to lean against. Remember to post those pics and join in the fun. Where you based>??

Welcome to the club, buddy you will soon get to differentiate between me, Burchy and my nipper, Young Burchy! I've got a majestic grey "S" as well. Reckon its the dogs dangly bits. Pete (YB) has got the smaller rarer ZRX400 which I think is quite appropriate for a junior member (Sorry Pete) get the camera out and let us have a look. Several on here have good blue "S"'s

All right, then, I'll be the one to ask the obvious question! Seeing as everyone wants top know, but no-one will pluck up the courage! So, then, what is two sizes and does it have anything to do with the currec=nt cold weather!

Not a good start by putting down the S model on this site, however, welcome to ZRXUK, post some pics of your blue one, I will have to check the garage cause I dont think Ive got one in that colour myself yet. I think you will find, especailly if you do a fair amount of milesage that you made the right choice anyway, and if not, you can always strip the fairing off and sell it to the colonials.

Cheers guys. Okay, the name is nothing do do with weather, body parts or any other connotations. I used to have a floppy hat during the summer months when I was working in the middle east. We all had them and there was a competition to see whose hat was floppiest. I ordered one that was simply - "two sizes too large for extra floppiness". The phrase became a bit of a catchprase and it's stuck with me ever since.
