Hi all Thought I'd better introduce myself here. Been biking since 1969 when I passed the test at the tender age of 16½! and only in the last 18 months have I been on the Kawasaki bandwagon. I kicked off with a ZR7-S which is a bit like a small Rex and then upgraded to an 02 1200 "S" last September. Within 10 days I was giving it a good runout on the Mountain Circuit and couldn't stop grinning all the way home. My 18 year old son has a 1995 Suzy GS500 and he seems have 2 wheels in the blood as well. Have just done the 15000 service and learned a lot about how these things are put together and I'm impressed. I'll see if I can add a piccy or two. Cheers boys and girls

(great choice of REX...another Majestic Grey ) michael, have you seen how clean that majestic grey is, I do hope that we are not gonna be expected to clean ours now. Welcome burchy to the ZRXUK site, just remember that any comments about laquered primer should be treated with the consending thought that they are only jealous. Nice touch with the polished rims.

Been biking since 1969 when I passed the test at the tender age of 16½!...... Sounds like most of us on here, Passed our tests when all you had to do was ride up n down the road , and not fall off. But after 30 odd years of riding, and were still at it. I think we have learned a lot. Which part of the country you in.?

I'm in the sunny New Forest, well its sunny at the moment! Thinking about a quick tour of the local roads. Only shame is there is a blanket 40mph on all the good roads, to give the loose animals a chance, but they never get u[p to those speeds!

Hey! I didn't say that I stay at 40. the twisty bits are far too good for that. We've developed quite a good little route round the back roads that are usually pretty quiet except when all the grockles are out, and this does give both the bike and me a good work out, even if its not often in top gear

New Forest, I think I have seen you and the majestic grey out not soo long ago. Im in Fareham, (but drive a tesco artic all round that area) do you go down to poole at all, if so be nice to meet up, convince michael to come and we will have three majestic greys together. Now there is a thought Could bring Floog, the sight would send him even more

Yeah, I'm always well up for that, as my kids say. You can often see me on the A36 to Ferndown, Poole and beyond. If your in Fareham, what about somewhere like Bishopstoke, Shawford, Bishop's waltham area? Open to suggestion really . A pride of silver "S"s - now that sounds reeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllly cool

Welcome to the REX world Burchy! Looks pretty stock - but we'll all help you deal with that in short order Pretty much. Braided hoses, powerbronze screen and Givi bits at the back on a Renntech carrier. Renntech are only down the road a bit and I have bought several bits from them. Good people who know the power of CASH! . Always get a good deal that is lower than you see in the catalogues and their own site
