Been pretty quiet here lately, I'm thinking that its the middle of winter, with snow and cold over here and wet and floods over the pond, so folks thoughts are on things besides riding. About two months here before I can expect to get the bikes out. GPz550 needs a master link in the chain and the carbs pulled cleaned. KZ1100R didn't run at all last year, so will need some cleaning as well (probably a battery since the one that's in it is OLD). REX should be ready to go with little work (maybe change up the antifreeze). Hopefully there'll be more opportunities to ride this summer as last summer seemed to simply lurch from one project to another, consuming most of the weekends in the process.
What's on deck for you blokes (and blokesses)?

Well it's not been too bad here in the smoke , yes it's wet and cold , but as a whole it's been a good winter. I'm in the middle of doing my Institute of Advanced Motorcyclist course , my observer is a ex copper of 30 years the last few years he was with the Specail Escort Group , those police motorcyclists that travel with the queen etc . So he knows his stuff . Today the ZZR passed it's MOT. Over the last couple of weeks I bought a new Oxford rainex cover for it , which I must say is very good. Also bought myself a new winter waterproof jacket , Alpinestars also very good . So with all my winter kit bought and ready......Im looking forward to spring and summer

Regrettably, sat waiting for the weather to significantly improve before getting new front tyre and MOT sorted, along with an oil change, new air and oil filters, spark plugs and leads etc Weather must improve soon, surely

Sure am hoping so. Daytime temps here over the next week will be in the mid to high - 20C's. Feeling like a yo yo this year with the temps bouncing back and forth from slightly above seasonal to well below seasonal. Kinda find myself hibernating when it gets really cold.

You didn't want to be outside with skin exposed to the wind - at all. Nearly froze my fingers filling the truck at the gas station and all I did was put the nozzle in and take it out when done. The rest of the time my hands were in my pockets.
