Hi all, brought a zrx11 back in February of this year as a 2nd bike and daily hack ,or so I thought .Six months later and my fire blades long gone ,as I really enjoyed the grunt and the riding position of the Rex .The biggest reason for it becoming a keeper was it reminded me of the bikes of my youth .Ive done a fair few mods already ,ohlins shocks zzr cams and a zx9r front end swap, plus a akra gp end can that sound and looks the bollocks .Has anyone done any caliper swaps as I'm not a great fan of the standard calipers .Cheers Rob

Good intro. 4 pot nissins are the main alternative to the Tokicos, however with regular fettling the 6 pots will do the job well enough

Thanks for the welcome .On the caliper front I think your right ,new pads and braided lines should do the job.The bikes coming along ,I like the sanctuary zrx and fancied something along those lines, without the 40k price tag .Ive got a couple of old Honda cb900s ,one in standard trim and the others a spencer rep ,but they don't get used very often .I've always liked the zrx and my days of scratching are over due to a bad accident not long back. So the Rex's riding position suits .I went to the squires cafe in September on the Saturday of the two stroke weekend ,because I'd read somewhere that one of the zrx owners club where meeting up.But only saw one other Rex up there..cheers Rob

I was there, but on a GTR1400. The ZRX turnout was a bit poor. Les and Phoenix from on here and Grim Reaper from next door. A few blokes came and went, again from next door, but it was a good weekend all in all
