Well today is the first time since Feb that I've had chance to get the bike out. I've drained the oil and fitted the new filter, but I just can't get the sump plug to stop dripping.
The drain hole was originally stripped of thread when I tried to fit a new sump plug, my old man tapped the hole in situ and made a new plug that fits great, but I've tightened it as much as I dare and it's still leaking very slowly.
Apart from a new sump, is there anything easier to consider that will stop the leak?
Supposed to be taking it our to Matlock in 10 days

Think I've got it sussed, PTFE tape on the thread and it seems to have worked so far, I'll find out how good it is tomorrow when I take it on the road.
