Sad news indeed.
For me, and this is just MHO, he would never be up there with the Greats of motorcycle racing. Although anyone that can ride those bikes , GP, WSBKs or BSB are a class apart. But he never really came out of the shadow of Neil Hodgson.

Well I'll have to add my two penneth, and i think badger is right dont get me wrong JT is a good motorcycle racer, but IMOH I think he went in to GP a little to quick, if he had done another year or two in WSB, then things may have been different
