As I'm doing the clutch i just wanted to make sure i am seeing right, the zrx manual says the clutch spring bolts should be torqued to 97 ft lb, is this right well after talking to wardourdrive the torque value is right so ill get it done tomorrow

Yes methinks you're right brakey and the correct value is .... 11 nm =8.113182 ft lb of torque NOT 97 ft lb. as stated in the manual been on to a mate of mine who has a torque wrench that goes down to that so ill go pick it up tomorrow.
Looks like I'll be drawing a torque table up for future reference

Bit of mis-reading here. My manual; says 97 lb.inches or 11 N-m
Do them up to 97 ft.lbs and they will shear long before you get close to that figure

My manual; says 97 lb. inches or 11 N-m Do them up to 97 ft.lbs and they will shear long before you get close to that figure Probably nige yes and i wouldnt even try to do them that tight anyway, i got the clutch fitted today and torqued up to 11 nm 9 ft lb. It has made a difference the clutch dosent go right to the end of the leaver now and i have lost the lag that was their when you let the clutch out and throttled on so good result and job done.
