why but we seem to be having trouble on the site for those using IE, however, if you download Mozilla Firefox hereit seems to run a lot quicker and more smoothly.

Don't know what is different here, but when I logged on this morning, IE8 shut down three times before I could get to the bottom of the first thread I went to read. Very I have been updating my Favourites for dead links and new URLs and in doing so have been to about 250 websites in the past couple of days. This is the only site that shuts down like that. I can hardly even scan the UK site anymore, let alone read/participate. It appears that there is something weird "here".

So Brakey, being the IT guru you are, can I run both Chrome and IE8, just at different times, or does Chrome wipe out IE8? ;D
Hate to have to figure out how to port all those favourites over to a new platform.

May give that a try, but for some unexplicable reason, the last two times I've been here, IE8 has worked just fine.
