Grem, I've gotten an IE runtime error twice now when trying to open the Rideouts thread on the Jerez trip. It says Run Time Error R6025 - pure virtual function call and shuts down IE

Just that one thread? If it had have been the entire rideouts forum I would have been inclined to blame the map for some temporary error or so. I'll unstick the thread and see if that helps you. It's currently a popular thread so will stay at or near the top of the forum anyway before the posters in that thread start panicking. For some wierd reason I cant get an internet connection with anything other than Firefox on this laptop and no, it isn't a firewall problem, so I'll try another machine running IE later and see if I can replicate the problem.

Did it again, twice this morning, only in the Jerez thread, then when I came back a third time, no error message. How's that for an annoying, intermittent, problem?? One never knows with intermittent problems that you can't diagnose, but suddenly go away. :hmm: Is it resolved, never to return, or just hibernating and going to spring out at you at the most inopportune time

Electrical problems on bikes and cars tend to follow the same route in my experience.

Yup, you're either looking for the problem and can't find it or think you've fixed it and it goes again. :headbang:

That sounds a lot like a Java problem to me. Somewhere on here I posted some instructions on how to check it and sort it. I'll have a look and post a link for you here when I find it. Man Flu slowly getting better. A couple of forced days off work due to the weather has been a great help. ;D
