Looks like it got smacked up the rear at some stage. What happened?? Pillion comfort has been compromised somewhat too. I really can't see the minister of war and finance being comfortable sitting on that. Have I missed the point somewhere? Looks a little overdone to me and has spoilt a good bike.

 Just checked my calendar - it's not April Fools day.........Somebody's obviously spent many an hour conceiving this (IMHO FUGLY) beast but the last time I saw a rear end like that it was on a bike that'd been cartwheeled down the Craner Curves at Donington. Still, as a forum I guess we work on the basis we welcome all Rexes...............each to their own and all that......

The last time I saw a rear end like that was a friends bike that got tail ended at some traffic lights. Not in the slightest bit funny.

Not impressed at all, but then I just don't "get" the streetfighter thing. Starting to go the same way as choppers - image over function

While i and i think we all applude the work and loving care that has gone into this, i think the guy lost his way. and then to paint it Blue :agreed: I'll stick my neck out here a little. I like watching the various biker build programmes with the OCC and Jesse James etc, because, although ,personally,I wouldn't want to ride or own one of these creations, I do really admire the thought, dedication and skill that goes into them Seeing a petrol tank being hand beaten from metal, shaped and painted and every detail lovingly created, or any part for that matter, fills me with appreciation for the skill involved, I would not have the patience or skill to even contemplate such actions.... I don't want a chopper, nor this bike we're talking about, but I really do admire the workmanship and the individuality which, I believe is one of the key factors of us being bikers....we are all individual. I'm inspired now....just off to fit a hard tail to my Rex....might add some C-90 wheels, some ape hangers with flowing tassles, ooh and some neon lights under the belly pan.........

Floog, I do see those as "works of art" and certainly respect the workmanship, but they are nothing I'd ever find myself wanting to own - or ride.
