Monster Yamaha Tech 3 is to follow in the footsteps of the Fiat Yamaha Team by erecting a wall to physically divide its two riders during the 2009 MotoGP season.
Factory Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo ran a divided pit last year due to their different tyre brands, with reigning champion Rossi then requesting that the wall remains in place for this year - despite all riders now being on Bridgestone tyres.
The official reason for the Fiat Yamaha wall is so that both riders can focus on their own world title hopes, but the new Tech 3 wall seems to be in direct response to the breakdown in communication between team-mates Colin Edwards and James Toseland.
Edwards has not spoken to Toseland since the Texan's 2008 race engineer, Gary Reinders, made the winter switch to Toseland's side of the garage.
Edwards is now working with the Englishman's former crew chief Guy Coulon and has publically stated his delight at outpacing Toseland during 2009 testing.
The final 2009 pre-season test, at Jerez, takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
What a shame that two of MotoGP's nicest gentlemen cant get on.
