MotoGP lap times from the third and final night at the Qatar test, held at Losail.
The test marked the return of Kawasaki, running Marco Melandri in its new 'unofficial' format under the name of 'Hayate Racing Team', while Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa missed the third and final day due to hand and knee injuries sustained on Monday.
Guinea Ecuatorial Team's Sete Gibernau was absent due to a shoulder injury.
The third and final pre-season test of 2009 takes place at Jerez from March 28-29. The opening round of the new MotoGP World Championship season will then take place back at Qatar, on the evening of April 12.

So reassuring to see the Kawasaki team holding its own in last place again I thought Melandri looked okay, till he went off course. We'll see how things develop.

Too bad about Loris!
I think this season should be pretty good, with so many fighting for 3 through 7, and I'm happy to see Lorenzo's got his mojo back.
Stoner's so damned consistent, though! His tests showed low times lap after lap in all sections of the course as compared to everyone else.
Come on Rossi! Let's see what you can do!
BTW! Motogp has a free fantasy league where you can compete picking the top 16 riders. There are some dumb prizes, but it's free. I picked Rossi to win today, but was good with everything else, except Loris and Melandri.
