Yep i used plenty of water Kevrex...i had another go at applying lacquer but this time while the sun was out and it dried out nice and shiny so im thinking of giving this another go with the lacquer again Practice makes perfect sparky, i know its a pain but once you have got the finish you want it makes it all worth while, and once done you never forget and get a perfect shine every time, keep up the good work mate. And remember the more cotes of lacquer you apply the better the finished product, also the longer you leave the lacquer to harden the better, i usually apply around 4 coats doubled over,by that i mean i half go over coat i have just applied until the whole thing is done so so 4 coats gives you 8 really.

I know where it went wrong and you did point that out kevrex when i last applied the lacquer i left it out in the cold over night so it was me own fault whilst applying this new coat i could see the sun drying it out and the shine coming through instantly . Ill prob take the panel off again and re laquer it in the warmer weather to get it just right

Ive put it back on the bike again kevrex but it dont look too bad now Im going to wait till the warmer climate turns up , that way the temp of the panel will be better to spray onto and hopefully the lacquer will harden up nicely with a high gloss finnish
