...had a chinese when we got back as a celebration to her riding the bike back so well it was either that or me cook something so i took the easy option Maybe i should get a trailer for the next bike as it would make it easier for the both of us , then again its an experience for both of us that we wont forget suppose we cant do what we use to do a long time ago :jerry: 340 miles in one day is quite a trek i guess especially if you havent rode a bike for some time Already searching :ebay: for stuff for the bike even though it dont need nothing Well a new front tyre soon :bye:

So you stayed in 1st all the way then Well done to her, and it always takes a few starts to learn how to properly start your new bike, how long to hold the starter, how much throttle etc etc. And you chose a nice day for the ride, perfect for a new bike

Yeah it would be fine - my GS500, only a twin though, would bump start easily on them cold, dark, wet winter commutes back from Uni. Certainly a good way to warm one up before the chilly ride home, doing that a few times. I always knew that if she didnt start with full choke and 3 decent spells on the starter, that it was time to stretch my legs and look for a downward sloped hill, quick.

why they dont, prob weight savin. When a came back tae bikin a few years ago, a bot a GPZ500, a sked the gut where the kick start wis, he jus pressed the starter, red face or wot

What really throws you out is a left handed kickstart bad enough having it on the right in the good ole days when trying to kickstart the bike and it kicked back No more of that now just a wee push of the button and awee you go Reminds me to dig out the optimate
