As a Kawasaki owner I'm not gonna be saying this very often.
That Honda looks Fantastic!!
Very subtly and tastfully modded which is nothing less than would be expected from the Blingmeister.

Thank you very much peeps, nice to get a positive reaction I think I've stayed true to my original plan of fitting practical extras that I believe improve the overall aesthetics and ride On a personal level, I have to say I adore this bike Creamy smooth and awesomely powerful, the torque is there at all times and I rarely touch the gearbox other than when stopping at lights. She's comfortable, very stable (the weight disappears on the move), and much like Greta, wherever I go I have men of a certain age asking me questions The fuel injection is absolutely flawless, and the ABS has been called upon once already when some w*anker decided to brake test himself, let alone me, so I can vouch for a nicely balanced system that really works I love the blue night dials, the Honda build quality which is as good as ever, even the quality plated fittings have different textures, and are a cut above most manufacturers poor quality shite. I'll also admit to getting a buzz from playing with the digital toys and stopwatch...... I managed 0-60 in 9 seconds which I'm very happy with The gearbox is fabulous, and the clutch ultralight. Two fingered braking brings the ole girl to a very abrupt halt The downsides...very few. Single layer stainless steel exhaust and downpipes means it turns brown and needs polishing after every ride.....(Suzuki GSX1400 uses double skin so it stays shiny silver forever )..... and the bloody screen has to be removed by a dealer for a replacement to be fitted (madness!) There is only one bike for me that could take the reins after the ZRX, and the CB1300SA is it, I am totally in love

Love the seat cowl, in fact i have been looking at one from Powerbronze for the MG. I could get the basic one and then spray it up... (or creep round Kevrex - the master sprayer-)
So are you going to send a Pic off to Mr Honda, to show him how to improve the beast...?

Lookin good there Floog! Got anything in there in a double chocolate mint in a waffle cone? I'll take a double scoop I'm such a sucker for an ice cream truck ;D You know, I remember that awesome H*nda quality on my C50! Oh what a machine that was! Just think, one can trace the lineage of that CB1300 all the way back to that marvellous machine S'OK as long as you continue to keep it tasteful

I was talking to somebody today who trsaded his CB1300 in for a Kawasaki so I guess that waht goes around comes around.
His only complaint about the Honda?
Crap headlight.
Said he might as well have had a candle on the handlebars for the amount of good it did.
Pretty sure he hasn't got the same problem now on his ZZR1400. He reckons that when he switches to mai n beam late at night, people start getting up for work. :sunny: :sunny:

got a bit lost when the ice cream got mentioned as had to make a dash for the freezer. Not too sure what it has to do with the bike though although I did enjoy my double choc chip. Anyway, back to the bike, I think it looks really really crap, all right so Im lying, it is looking good , love the centre stand, its the one item I think should be fitted as compulsory by law to all bikes, cause it makes everything else you do so sodding simple. If I might be so bold as to one suggestion though, spray the seat cowl, either red that matches the rest or white prehaps its just me, love the idea (although not sure Karen does )

The clue is the colour scheme with regard to the ice cream link...........
Remember the Suz GS1000 of the early 80's fondly known as the ice cream van?
