I bet everyone remembers that feeling of getting a new, unfamiliar bike (new or second hand) I joined ZRXOC first and then :uk: and gleened as much information as possible about my Rex....the annoying little things that should have been dealt with by Kawasaki like the angle of the sidestand and the blurry mirrors, the seat cable (mine jumped out but I was lucky) etc.... Having just bought the CB, and especially with lot's of downtime, I've been studying the manual and the bike to work out where everything is, how to set up the various computer readouts etc I joined an excellent owners forum where, much like here, I've met lot's of really nice people and learned a lot of interesting stuff One of the littler grumbles from many was an ommission by Honda to fit some simple grommets over the mirror bolts....the result being rust pretty quickly as water collects and sits in the hole It still amazes me how manufacturers can fail to rectify simple little obvious niggles like this, would cost them pennies to sort Anyway, a very nice chap called Frogger on the site solved the problem by supplying grommets to fit. I bought two sets and the result looks simple and effective It's a very friendly site much like ours, but newer and with 198 members, I hope it continues to develope like :uk: both very pleasant places to be

[/quote] Jeez BADGER, take a chill pill I was simply commenting on the fact that like ALL bikes, ZRX's included, there are little things you wish they'd seen to on the production line..... The mirrors are a known rust point on the CB, with a simple cheap fix that Honda could so easily sort for pennies. I was also commenting on the nice parallel between the helpful peeps on both sites..... I've learned a lot about my ZRX and now my CB from the friendly wisdom of others

Well it just goes to show, you get a bike cheap and you get a few bits missing. Just goes to show that nothing in this world is as it seems, the reputation of Hinda used to be second to none, seems to me that since they stopped building the C90 theve gone downhill rapidly.

. . . seems to me that since they stopped building the C90 theve gone downhill rapidly. You may have hit upon something there. H*nda may have hit its apogee, or reached its epitome of quality and functionality with the wonderful, stunning C90 and it's all been downhill since then.
