James has been selected by Phase One to ride in the Suzuka 8 hour in July . He'll be riding a Phase One prepared Yamaha R1. He has yet to be told who his partner is. He flies out to Japan early July for a week or so... I'll keep you posted...

Thats BRILL News , well done James, make sure you tell him his friends at ZRXUK are happy for him and with be cheering him on, all 8 hours. (or the half he does). Be interesting to see who his team mate will be. If he sees any ZRXs left laying about, make sure he picks one or two up, and bring them back.

Just spent the morning down at James's. He's building a second bike. Honda gave him the engine...Harris gave hin one of their modified frames & swingarm & the rest is down to him. We put the swingarm into the bare frame this morning. Mmmm & i unwrapped a WSB spec Ohlins rear shock fresh from its box & bolted it into place. We also put the headset & Harris adjustable yolks in ready to slide the Ohlins WSB legs in

Will get the goss on here as soon as i can...

Not much news im afraid folks...James is gonna have the metal brace attached to his leg for a couple of months yet. He's gonna be competing in the main BSB grid next season. He's still a privateer as such, but not competing in the privateer cup so he will at least be able to buy the same tyres as the factory teams. He doesnt really have any new sponsors...but the guy that builds Alex Barros's WSB engines has agreed to do the winter overhauls and rebuilds on his engines for the coming year & Harris Engineering are stepping up their sponsorship a bit & also Motec are doing the bike electronics. His bike is just being got ready to put on Harris's stand at a show at the mo & was voted as the 7th best looking bike on the BSB grid in a recent poll.... I'll let you know more as it develops...
