An outstanding race 2 from Scott Smart (Vivaldi).
I take my hat off to them all, it was a very wet and cold day for all concerned.

They get paid enough money for it...i'd sack the er,"stars" that chickened out...Shakey springs to mind...Hell.id LOVE to race around Donnington in the rain if i was getting paid for it and i didnt have to pay for my bike if i binned it... They got a cushy life. Its good that they earn their money sometimes...

I agree. Shaky did more than chicken out on the outlap he fell out from what I remember I've ridden Mallory Park, not on my bike I might add and for a fat 40 yr old it was fun. Mond you it could have been teh blonde lady instructor with pony tails I was following. Anyway, it is the up and coming stars and privateers taht shoudl be praised No matter whether they are "stars"or not coming off cannot be pleasant no matter how much you are paid.

No . i take my hat off to all the Spectators that Paid to get in, stand in the rain, then get on their wet bikes and ride home in the rain. The riders Stand smiling in their pits (Shakey on tv) then go home in their cars, warm n dry.

First time he'd ridden it in race conditions??? you mean first time he'd ridden it EVER!!! Race one was his "testing" and "practice" all rolled into one! He only got the bike 5 days before the race & had to rob the forks & shock off the old GSXR1000-and get it all painted and set up in less than a week! He's been riding the same old GSXR1000 for 3 seasons now...Donnington was his first race on a non-Suzuki for years. Even more impressive if you ask me...especially when you look at the er,"stars" that crashed...or didnt even race...
