Ok,so anyone got any bright ideas? You can always pull the plastic bit off easily enough, but why do they always have to stick em on with industrial strength glue? Do they think someones gonna nick em? Ive tried hairdryers(to warm it up),white spirit,petrol,meths,T-cut...and its still on there...jeez,i got no finger prints left on my didgits for rubbing so hard. Whaddya rekon dudes?

 A Stanley knife would certainly do it. Try speaking nicely to Ms Snoops and borrow some nail polish remover. (Acetone) I had this problem on a previous bike where the tankpad had been destroyed by heat and sunlight. The pad came off easily enough but the glue was left behind.

Your not wrong, don't work for me either and I posted it Anyway did Google search for "glue remover" and it brought up loads of products. The link should be to a Loctite product, and cost a few quid. I'm assuming as they make/sell glue, they should know how to get the damn stuff off.
