Welcome Kelv!
Only 2 weeks to wait, now.
1984 - that was a Moto Guzzi 1000. A right pig totally unreliable. Owned it 25 years and was really sad to see it go. What a difference the Kwak is. Take it carefully for the first few 100 miles or so. I've had mine a year, now and it can still catch me out

Hey, Kelv!
You sound like a kid, to be sure.
I just got mine a bit ago, and had to wait for two weeks before making the 3600 km trip I took to get it. She's been home for about a month, and I still check up on'er every chance I get. My ass is a bit sore all the time from my damned OEM seat, but I am thrilled all the same.
Hope you have a blast!
The pics are great and I love the green.

Did my 'Rusty Rider' course today at Camrider in Peterborough. I can't recommend it enough. It does exactly what it says on the box. Allan, my instructor for the morning put me straight at ease. He said "It's just like two mates out for a spin." We did some tootling around the car park while he checked my control out, then it was out on the open road, me on an ER500, followed by Allan on his Goldwing. WE did about 90 miles, taking in town, country roads and a blast up the A1. The whole thing lasted just over four hours. Like I said. Highly recommended.
