Especially if they want to take a look at a 1200R!

The S fairing may be worth 10 bhp although I doubt it. Allegedly it does help the 'S' to a 10mph higher top speed although what the test rider had for breakfast could well make the same difference. We all know they got the same engine. Taking my usual cynical view, the bike press don't sell bikes, they sell what occasionally passes for news and advertising space.

no i said it wrong they say ..........s = 122bhp and ....r = 112bhp ................................ No difference in the engines whatsoever! Maybe some top speed difference due to the fairing, but certainly no 10 hp

Fairing, or lack of same, has absolutely no impact on the dyno'd horsepower. As above, maybe the top speed, but unless the engine itself is at a different state of tune - not possible due to a fairing. Wonder how many more magazines they sold to "S" owners who think that article settles the debate. Headlines and controversy (whether real or made up) is what sells. Over the long haul, those magazines that tell the "truth" get my money.

ZRX ,s always seem to be marked down by a few of these bike mags but some of these mags are sponsored, by other bike manufactures who put big money their way :broke:

Buell is 7th and the REX is 11th! Don't make sense to me , but I'm biased to Kawasaki so i cant be neutral on this opinion but the zrx would be in the top 2 ;D
